In 1988, a group of like-minded men and women came together. They were like-minded in their belief that the "medically indigent" were underserved; and that quality treatment and affordability were not mutually exclusive terms. It was soon determined that these goals could best be attained through a socially conscious, private-sector funded facility. These past eleven years have seen these goals reach their fruition. Shoreline has grown stronger. Stronger in the quality and delivery of programmatic and clinical care. Stronger in the qualtiy of employee development. Stronger in satisfied referrals. Stronger financially. And, what is most important, strongest in graduates who now lead productive and satisfying lives. The Board's goal is for continual improvement with a commitment to be here for those requiring treatment, family reconciliation, and resolution of their personal traumas. Sincerely,
